I started Lúill with a simple idea. Make less, but make it better.
Growing up, knitwear was always seen as an investment, something you returned to each season, year after year. In the 90s, my parents had beautiful knit pieces that lasted, and my mum knitted constantly. It set a quiet standard for me, an understanding of what quality knitwear should feel like, and the role it can play in a wardrobe over time.
That perspective has shaped everything behind Lúill.
I found myself searching for knitwear that felt both elevated and effortless, pieces that didn’t just look considered, but made getting dressed feel easy. Pieces you could rely on, without overthinking it. When I couldn’t quite find that balance, Lúill began to take shape.
At Lúill, we create knitwear using only the finest natural fibres, premium-grade cashmere, merino wool, and pure lambswool, all chosen for their softness, integrity, and the way they wear over time. Each piece is produced in small runs, with a focus on thoughtful design and careful craftsmanship.
I’ve always believed in building a wardrobe slowly. Choosing fewer pieces, but choosing well. Clean silhouettes, soft structure, and understated detail define each collection. Designed to integrate seamlessly into your wardrobe and be worn with ease.
Getting dressed shouldn’t feel complicated or time-consuming. It should feel intuitive, an effortless part of your day that allows you to feel considered and put together, without having to think twice.
Purpose sits at the centre of everything we do, from the materials we source to the makers we partner with. It’s about creating pieces that last, that soften with wear, and that you continue to reach for over time.
Lúill is knitwear to live in, worn often, kept for years, and valued beyond seasons. These are the pieces you keep, season after season.
